Home Welcome to our multi-award winning 24-hour health club!Established for 13 years, we're proud to offer affordable memberships, outstanding brand new facilities and an exceptional service to everyone!We've recently completed a £120,000 restoration and refurbishment with loads of brand new gym kit! We are the largest independent club in town offering the best gym equipment in new air-conditioned fitness suites. Help is always available from our resident personal trainers. We operate an anytime membership policy so all members can workout within our normal opening times. Members with 24-hour access can train anytime! Here's a brief guide to what we have on offer!Main 24-Hour Fitness SuiteThere's plenty of Star Trac and Concept2 cardiovascular equipment and Technogym resistance machines. Stretching mats and dumbbells upto 10.0kg are also provided. New for January 2012, we've just installed brand climate control air-conditioning throughout and of course there's music on widescreen T.V's.Ladies Only Fitness SuiteLadies have the option to workout in a private gym. It's got new air-conditioning aswell with a widescreen TV. There's more cardio equipment, stretching mat and specially designed low-weight resistance machines. Shapemater Toning Table StudioLadies... Tone up and relax with our toning tables!Mobilise your joints and lose those inches with our Tummy Toner and Thigh Trimmer to name just two!Olympic Weights & Dumbbell Floor Our third floor is dedicated to free weights with use of dumbbells ranging from 5.0kg to 50.0kg. Weight benches are provided for different incline/declines to vary difficulty. In addition we also have a punch bag, Olympic Smith and Squat machine with various bars and up to 400.0kg in plates to make sure you have all that is needed to keep your programme challenging! New for 2012... we're doubling the size so there's more benches, more weights and more room to workout!Personal TrainingEvery member recieves a FREE BUPA approved health check and fitness consultation on your first visit to the club. We have a dedicated team of exercise professionals with the knowledge and experience to offer advice and guidance in all areas of exercise and fitness. Our personal trainers will listen to your aims and will design you a safe and effective exercise program to help you reach your personal goals. We can assist with weight loss, exercise performance and improved wellness.Some members prefer to have one-on-one training on a more regular daily/weekly basis and we can arrange this service for a small charge. From January 2012, we're offering a comprehensive community class timetable! There's now over 20 classes to choose from in several locations across Chorley and Leyland.Our classes are run in partnership with local instructors and are situated in schools, clubs and community centres in Chorley, Coppull, Withnell, Heapey, Euxton, Buckshaw Village and Leyland.There's no need to book... just turn up!Classes will be competitively priced and Chorley Fitness members will pay just £2.00 per class!Non-members are welcome and classes are from £3.50 per session.

Frequently Asked Questions
24-Hour AccessAre you really open 24 hours a day? Yes! Members with 24-hour access can workout 7 days a week, 365 days a year! How can I get 24-hour access?You can either join on a membership package which includes 24-hour access or purchase a 24-hour bolt-on to any normal membership.I've just registered for 24-hour access what happens next?Once you've completed your health check and consultation, we'll book you in for a mandatory operational, health and safety tour of the club. We'll also verify your ID and take a photo for our photo recognition door entry system. Then we'll issue you with your own security access fob.Is it safe? Yes! Our club is monitored via extensive CCTV coverage with direct links to our central monitoring station and emergency services. The club is staffed between our normal opening hours which are Monday to Thursday 8am - 9pm, Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday to Sunday 10am - 4pm. There are 9 emergency call points situated around the club should you require assistance.Can I give my access fob to someone else to use? No! All 24-hour members are required to complete a mandatory declaration not to let anyone else attempt to access the club with your fob. Your fob and club membership will permanently be suspended without refund and a lifetime ban will be imposed in the event that you admit any other person to the club (member or non-member). We have invested in the best photo-recognition door entry technology to prevent misuse and to protect our facilities and ensure the safety of our members. What do I do if I lose my fob?You need to contact the club or central monitoring station immediately to get it deactivated. We can issue you with a new one for just £5.00. If you lose your fob outside of normal hours then either call our central monitoring station or send us an email via our website page. How do I contact the central monitoring station? In the event of an emergency or you lose your fob outside of normal hours then you can contact Lingwood Security 24/7 on 0845 450 5830.
MembershipDo you offer pay as you go?No, but as we're a members only club, from January 2012 members may admit a guest for £6.00 per day or with 30 loyalty card points. Will I get a membership card? Yes. All members get a loyalty reward membership card. This is bespoke to you and monitors your attendance so we can reward you with extra benefits and gifts! Can I freeze my membership? Yes. If you pay in advance for your membership, then you can freeze for a minimum one month period up to six months in any one year. If you pay by monthly direct debit then you can reduce your payment to £5.00 per month for a minimum one month period up to six months in any membership period.Will you increase my membership fee? No. We reward loyalty! From January 2012, the price you join on is the renewal price you will pay for the lifetime of your membership. Can I change my direct debit date? Yes. Our standard payment collection dates are on the 1st and 15th day of each month. Just ask at reception. I don't have a bank account, do you accept cash? No. Sorry, we don't collect cash over reception for memberships so all monthly payments are collected by direct debit. You may prefer to join on a short term advance membership instead. Can I cancel my membership? This depends on which membership you join on. If you join on a month to month / no-commitment option then you can cancel with one month's notice from your next payment date. Contracted members may only cancel by giving one month's notice after the minimum period has passed.Can I pay in advance for my membership?Yes! You can pay in club by debit or credit card or join online and pay via a one-off direct debit payment. Advance memberships often save you more money aswell! My Son/Daughter attends a Chorley High School, I can join them up?Yes! Our FitKids receive FREE membership and may attend the club on a 1:1 basis when you workout. A one-off £20.00 registration fee applies which simply covers our administrative, consultation and membership card costs. Limited spaces available on a first come, first served basis to Albany, Southlands, St. Michaels, Parklands and Bishop Rawstorne students.
Facilities, Services & EquipmentDo you offer classes? Yes! To keep our membership fees competitive, these are extra at £2.00 per class when you buy a course of 10. Look at our timetable for class details. Do I need to book for your classes? No! Just turn up and take part.How busy does the gym get?It doesn't! We're the largest independent club in town and have loads of equipment spread over three floors. Because we're open 24-hours a day, our members come at all different times and not all at the same time!How heavy are your free weights? We've got 400.0kg Olympic weights in plates ranging from 0.5kg to 25.0kg. Our dumbbells range from 1.0kg to 50.0kg in 1.0kg, 2.5kg and 5.0kg increments.Do you have towels to wipe down equipment? Yes! You can bring a towel with you or use our Clinnell wipes situated around the fitness suites. Are you a posers paradise and do I have to wear a leotard?Ha definitely not! We have members ranging from 11 to 88 years of age. We're a private club with separate ladies only gym so theres no intimidation concerns to worry about either.What does your BUPA approved health check consist of? We monitor and test your heart rate, lung capacity, grip strength, flexibility, height, weight, fat measurement, blood pressure, and body mass index. We can even monitor your measurements so you can prove your inch loss!Do members have to pay for a fitness programme? No. You get a free health check and fitness consultation on your first session. We also offer free re-assessments on a regular basis to suit your exercise requirements. Do you offer Personal Training? Yes! Our Personal Trainers work 1:1 to help you achieve your goals faster and give you extra motivation and support. One-off 60-minute sessions cost £25.00, but we offer courses from as low as £15.00 per session. Are there changing facilities, showers & lockers? Yes! We've got private power showers, oak lockers, widescreen TVs and vanity areas with hairdryers and GHDs! You will need to bring a padlock or you can buy a 4-dial combination padlock from reception for £5.00.Do you have a sauna, steam room, spa and swimming pool? Yes and no. We don't have a pool but we do have the rest! Ladie's benefit from private sauna and hydrotherapy whirlpool spa whilst Gent's can relax in their sauna and aromatherapy steam room. Note, these facilities are turned off outside of normal opening hours.Do you have WIFI access in the gym? Yes. Just ask at reception for the password if you need it. Can I get refreshments?Yes! Bottled spring water, sport, low calorie and energy drinks are available from our fridge and vending machine. A selection of coffees including cappuccino and espressos are available to members with our compliments. Do you have a car park? No. We're in Chorley town centre so theres plenty of parking nearby. There's two-hour free parking daily on Railway Road and the restriction ends at 5pm, you can park opposite us and next to us in the lay-by after 6pm and at weekends. Otherwise, Market Walk flat iron car park is free after 6pm.What social events can I look forward to?Our regular member events are always a good excuse for a knees up and gives us good reason to keep going to the gym! Our Gala Christmas Party is our flagship event where we have had over 200 members attend in recent years. Other events include shopping and race days, lunches, night at the dogs, barbeques and special events to celebrate our anniversaries and achievements!
